U Can Dance If U Want 2

Today is going to be more than a little special. We’ve got none other than Kenny Dixon Jr, aka Moodymann, joining us down at the Grove for what could well be one of the most memorable days of this New York summer. We’ve become accustomed to a surprise or two in store when Mister Mann rolls through. This one is going to be especially busy so we’d advise you to get down to the Grove nice and early.

Note that the pricing is slightly higher than normal, at $15 general admission, to cover some of the extra expenses related to this one. If you’re tight for cash you can still RSVP to mister@mistersaturdaynight.com for $10 entry before 5pm, or grab one of the few remaining early bird tickets over here. We promise the extra $3 will be well worth it!

Weather Update: Accuweather is telling us it’s going to be ‘Sunny & Delightful’ all day. Perfect! We’ll see you down there!

That Sunday Feeling

It’s Mister Sunday time again! The outlook today is perfect – dry and warm. You know the drill by now so we wont repeat it we’ll just see you down at the Grove!

Rolling On: Rain or Shine!

It’s been a truly great start for Mister Sunday this summer. The weather has been warm and dry, Mile End and Country Boys have been dishing up consistently delicious fare, the locally brewed beer (and our special sangria) from Botanica has proven a real hit, and we’ve had two memorable performances from our special guests Four Tet and Space Dimension Controller playing to diverse and friendly crowds.

This weekend the full team is back at it, and this time Justin and I are handling musical duties all day long.

NOTE ON JUNE 12: THE SUN’S PEEKING OUT FROM BEHIND THE CLOUDS, AND WE’RE ON TODAY!

Mister Sunday Arrives

The time for Mister Saturday Night to unveil his Sunday afternoon spinoff, Mister Sunday, is almost upon us. This coming Sunday at Gowanus Grove, we welcome music lovers of all kinds to an outdoor celebration which is uniquely Brooklyn. There will be sausages from Mile End and tacos and huaraches from Red Hook Ball Field vendors Country Boys, cold drinks from the fine folks at Botanica and the best in music from Justin, Eamon and special guest Four Tet.

Festivities start at 3pm and in respect for our neighbors end at 9pm sharp. If you want guaranteed entry, grab a ticket in advance. You can get in for a discounted rate before 4pm if you email us at mister@mistersaturdaynight.com. Otherwise it’s $12, unless you’re a a kid under the age of eighteen (with a grown-up) or a dog (on a leash), in which case it’s free for you all day.

We’ll see you on Sunday! Details after the jump.
