Eamon and Justin take to the decks all by themselves for the first time since February. You stretch out, they’ll stretch out, we’ll all stretch out.

A Mister Saturday Night Loft Party with Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin
at House of Yes / 342 Maujer St between Waterbury and Morgan, Brooklyn / Saturday, May 12th / 10p-6a / limited $10 early bird tickets in advance, $15 after earlies sell out / go here for advance tickets / $10 before midnight with RSVP to mister@mistersaturdaynight.com if space is available / $15 otherwise / map to venue / 21+*
*Although we absolutely love to play host to our all-ages friends, the operators of the space make the rules. When we can, we do it all-ages, but for House of Yes, we’ve gotta keep it twenty-one and over.
Our next party will be on the 28th at House of Yes with Justin, Eamon and special guest Jacques Greene from Montreal. Jacques is a young wunder-producer who defies genre classification. And although we can’t put our finger on exactly what he’s making, what is for sure is he goes heavy on the R&B vocals, and we have absolutely no problem with that.
We’ll be serving beer on the house from 10 to 11, and admission is only $15 before midnight if you RSVP to mister@mistersaturdaynight.com. (It’s $20 otherwise.) We’ve got nice chairs to relax in, a full bar, a disco ball, and a soundsystem and dancefloor that will hold you oh-so tight. And if you want a shirt or a record, we’ll have those for sale, too.

As you may have heard, we’re starting a record label. (In case you haven’t, check here for the info and to hear clips from the first record.) To celebrate, we’re doing the same thing we do most other Saturday nights – throwing a party. The thing that makes this different than other Mister Saturdays, though, is that we’ll have copies of the record – Anthony Naples’ Mad Disrespect EP – for sale more than two weeks before anyone else can get them. And, just for that night, we’ll be selling them for $5 a pop, which is really cheap. (So just one per person, please.)
Also, young Mister Naples will be playing records for the first couple hours of the party, and then Justin and Eamon will play his record on repeat for the next six hours. Okay, not really.
Everything else is the same as it ever was. House of Yes. Free beer for the first hour. Party jams. Weird party jams. I didn’t ever think of this as a party jam-s. And a really nice soundsystem and a bunch of good people.
As always, we are looking forward to getting down with you.

Before we came to New York, we had dreams of dancing with all different kinds of people, races and orientations under one roof. True diversity happens every now and again, but not nearly as much as we want.
The good thing about our fine city, though, is that you can make it what you want. And that’s just what we’re doing. Spank, our favorite underground gay party, joins forces with us to take over 12-turn-13, a place where it feels like anything is possible.
The result is…
New York! Just Like I Pictured It
**So we can keep things intimate, this will be an advance ticket-only party.**

For this installment of the Mister at the House Of Yes, we’re happy to announce that we’re doing something we’ve been hoping to do for a long time now – incorporate live music into the party.
Justin and Eamon will DJ almost all night long, and all the trappings that make the House of Yes extra special – comfy seats, a full bar, a disco ball, and our big blue sound system on all four corners of the wood dancefloor – will still be in place; but at some point earlier in the night, the guys will be handing the keys over to a trio of very talented and ingenious acoustic and electronic musicians from Brooklyn called Archie Pelago.
On cello and Ableton is Greg Heffernan (Cosmo D); Dan Hirshorn (Hirshi) operates the turntables and trumpet; and Zach Koeber (Kroba) plays sax and assorted effects. Their technical set-up alone has received plaudits from electronic music producers, and the resulting sound they create is just as uniquely impressive. More than ready for the dancefloor? Mary Anne Hobbs thinks so, and so do we.
Come before eleven for some beers on the house, and RSVP to mister@mistersaturdaynight.com for reduced entry at the door before midnight.
We’re looking forward to trying something new with you.
