Rain Dancing at Mister Sunday

While many stayed home because of the weather on Sunday (we don’t blame you), there were a brave few that came out – some in bathing suits and bathing caps, others with no shirts – to get down. Here’s a video of us playing to that crazy bunch.

Sunday, August 28 / Mister Sunday with the Mister Saturday Night boys and the Optimo boys / at Gowanus Grove (400 Carroll St between Bond and Nevins, Brooklyn) / 3pm – 9pm / tickets / RSVP to mister@mistersaturdaynight.com to get in for $10 before 5pm / $12 otherwise

A Mister Mix for Juno Plus

Eamon and I both by a lot of records from Juno (don’t worry, we buy local, too), so when we got a request from Juno Plus to do the August edition of their podcast, we jumped at it. The mix is from the early hours of a party back in April at 12-turn-13. We’re keeping it moody.

Feast Your Eyes

Last week The Feast, a blog about stuff happening in the lovely city of New York, did a little interview with Eamon and me. They also caught some footage from the party two weeks ago, and it’s spliced in there. We thought you might like to see it.

No Mister Sunday Today

Because of the imminent all-day rain fest, we’re closing up the Grove today and staying indoors. Don’t worry, though. We’ll be back next Sunday. If you still want your fix, we suggest turning on Eamon and Justin’s closing set from a couple weeks ago and dancing around your living room. We’re gonna watch The Journey of Man. See you next Sunday.
