Justin_Carter___Eamon_Harkin_____Natalie_Keyssar__1_

A quick round up of some recent interviews with Justin and Eamon.

Justin chats with the French blog, High Five, after the September 2013 Mister tour. Eamon chats with Skiddle in the UK before the Mister’s debut in Manchester and with Ad Hoc, a blog focusing on DIY culture. And both Eamon and Justin answer a few questions for the Hugo Boss eMag website.

The Return

MSN_2013_Nov3-V4A(1)

We just can’t wait until the summertime.

So we’ve decided to bring Mister Sunday indoors once a month, every month from now until next summer, at the lovely 12-turn-13. There are plenty of windows to let the sunshine in, and there’s plenty of room on the rooftop to catch some crisp air in between dances.

We’ll have local food spot, The Joint, serving up empanadas and posole, and we’ll open earlier than usual so you can relax, grab a bite, and (if you’ve got ’em) let the kids run around before it gets busy. We’ll have tables and chairs throughout the space from 1pm until about 3pm, and then we’ll clear them out and crank the music up to get the dancefloor going.

The party goes to 9pm, and it costs $15; but we have a limited amount of $10 early bird tickets. You can also RSVP at mistersaturdaynight.com/rsvp and get there before 5pm to get in for $10; just keep in mind that 12-turn-13 is much smaller than Gowanus Grove, so we might sell out in advance.

We’re looking forward to seeing you in the sunshine again.

Water World

MSN_2013_Oct26_Halloween-V1A

It’s Halloween. We toyed with the idea of throwing a government shutdown-themed party, but then we thought, “What’s even scarier than the US government dealing with a problem that they know exists?” That’s right. A problem they don’t believe exists. Global Warming. And so we bring you, on this scariest of holidays, Mister Halloween Night: Water World.

We’ll be transforming 12-turn-13 into an underwater city in which jellyfish take the A train, and you practice your best synchronized swimming moves on the dancefloor. Mermen Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter will spin the deepest whale songs never heard by man; and the Neptune-like gods of theARTcorps will attach starfish to buildings and use bioluminescent creatures to light the disco ball for your visual pleasure.

Costumes are required if you’re gonna take the plunge with us, but don’t feel limited to Little Mermaid get-ups. Think melting ice caps, Jacques Cousteau, Noah’s Ark (we want to see a lot of animals, two-by-two), scuba divers and polar bears in Bermuda shorts. Group costumes will keep you afloat the longest, and if you don’t dress up, you’ll be stranded.

The flood begins at 10pm. Don’t forget your water wings.

Back At It With Hank Jackson & Lumigraph

MSN_2013_Oct12_HankLumigraph1A(2)**Hey, folks. Tickets are now sold out, and RSVPs are closed. If you’re not joining us tonight, please join us on the 26th for our Halloween party or for Mister Sunday on November 3.**

Recent Mister Saturday Night label signings, Hank Jackson and Lumigraph, join Justin and Eamon for the first Mister Saturday Night since August and the first party in New York since the last Mister Sunday of the outdoor season. Hank will be DJing, and Lumigraph, whose record just came out on Monday, will be playing live. If you came to the Saturday party in August, you know the cozy loft space in south Brooklyn where we’ll be hosting this one. To keep things special, we’re keeping the address under wraps for now. You just have to purchase a ticket or RSVP, and we’ll email you address details the day of the party. Just remember that RSVP and ticket sales close at noon on Saturday.

We can’t wait to see you again.

**A note: While we love hosting our all ages friends, the venues where we host our parties make the rules. Unfortunately, the place where we’re hosting this party is 21+. If you’re under 21, though, fear not. You can join us on November 3 for Mister Sunday. That one will be all ages.**

Ticket purchase or RSVP required for address details.

A limited amount of $10 early bird tickets are available.
It costs $20 otherwise.

Tickets are here, and you can RSVP here. Just remember that an RSVP doesn’t guarantee entry, so it’s best to buy a ticket if you’re sure you’re coming.

Lumigraph – Yacht Cruiser EP

Lumigraph is Gareth Smyth, a young Dubliner who spent the summer of 2012 living in New York City. He filled his time recording sounds of the streets, making music in a small apartment and going out to parties, which is how he met the Mister Saturday Night guys. The songs on the Yacht Cruiser EP were all recorded in Brooklyn, and they are his first tracks ever to be pressed on vinyl.

The record comes out on October 7, 2013. You can listen to clips below, and you can pre-order the record over at the store.
