Gleam-Glass-Gliss at The Stone

We may live for the bassline, but we can get down with some otherworldly abstraction. For anyone else in New York who shares that sentiment, here’s a heads up: Don’t miss Miguel Frasconi and Denman Moroney at The Stone tonight. 

These two gifted experimentalists will showcase their new collaborative album, Gleam, by creating strange sonic textures from shards of glass, ringing bells and the innards of a piano. The video above captures Frasconi coaxing beautiful sounds from what looks like an entire back bar. His parents must have had their hands full…
