It’s Brooklyn Pride Week.
And we are proud to celebrate our LGBTQ friends by giving $1 from every ticket sold this Sunday to the Ali Forney Center, a shelter and support center for homeless LGBTQ youngsters with a location not too far from our summer home in Sunset Park. At the helm of the party, as usual, are Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter, who’ll be playing all kinds of records to make you happy you were born this way (no matter what way you were born). And then, of course, the quintessential Mister Sunday cherries on top: huaraches, pizza, sangria, beer, sunshine and a disco ball.
