The outdoor season has come to a close. Our last Mister Sunday before we pack up the trees for the winter and head inside is this Sunday, October 22nd. Come get your dance on. The weather seems to agree that you should do this.
RSVP for early, discounted entry, and get tickets here. The party runs from 3pm to 9pm is all ages and all walks of life. Skaters, non-conformists, grandmas, leather daddies, dogs, babies and everybody else. Just as long as you’re nice.

This weekend is our July 4th Weekend special. Eamon Harkin will be taking the reins of the party on his own for six hours. The parties where the guys get to play solo are special ones that they spend days preparing for in the studio, pulling records that don’t normally get aired at the party. Here’s four hours from Eamon a couple summers ago to get you in the mood.

President Drumpf’s decision to pull America out of the Paris Climate Agreement yesterday has had us sad and angry for the last twenty-four hours. It’s beyond reason.
Climate change shouldn’t be a political issue. It’s real; it affects us all; and if we don’t address it, all of the other things we work for – equality, justice, peace – are moot. None of those things can exist without a habitable earth.
In protest of Drumpf’s withdrawal, we’re donating 10% of the profits from this Sunday’s party to Earthjustice, a legal non-profit that holds those who break environmental laws accountable for their actions. We’ll also have a place for donations at the door if you’d like to give beyond the cover charge, and of course you can give to them online.
Whether you can make it this Sunday or not, we hope you’ll also consider taking action in your own way – and we hope to see you soon.

Once a month in the non-outdoor season, we bring the big, warm sound system to a now secret but very familiar space for an intimate daytime jam. Sunlight streams through the windows, we string up the garden lights, and we dance it all out. The party’s all ages.
The next edition is on April 23rd. Advance tickets are a good idea, though we will have some tickets at the door.
If you’re in a financial tough spot and would like to join us, please email ask@mistersaturdaynight.com. It’s more important than ever to be together and dancing, and we don’t want you to miss out because of financial constraints. We’ll do our best to accommodate you. (Just email us at least twenty-four hours before the party starts, as we stop checking the email when we are getting set up.)
Because the venue is now unlisted, we’ll send the address to all ticket holders on the day of the party. You can also email ask@mistersaturdaynight.com on the day of the party to find out the address info if you don’t have a ticket.

We’re back for another edition of Planetarium, our immersive experience dedicated to the music we love that’s not for the dancefloor.
We’ve once again reserved an amazing private loft space with a beautiful hi-fi system, and on it, records and live music will be played to get lost in.
There are couches and chairs, and you can bring blankets, sleeping bags, pillows or anything else you’d like to make yourself comfortable. We only do a handful of reservations so that there’s plenty of room to spread out.
This session goes from 7pm to midnight on Friday, February 24th. This date is special, as it’s the release date for Justin Carter’s album The Leaves Fall. For the occasion, Justin will DJ alongside Eamon Harkin and perform live. Accompanying Justin live and playing solo lives sets are cellist Marika Hughes and keyboardist Jason Lindner. Marika has recorded with Yo Yo Ma, Tin Hat Trio and Mr. Bungle, to name a few. Jason is the longtime leader of The Jason Lindner Big Band as well as the integral keyboardist on all of David Bowie’s final album, Blackstar.
You can bring your own drinks (there’s no bar) and food, and we’ll have all the creature comforts that you might otherwise need inside so you never have to leave the bubble we’re creating.
Because we’re doing this at someone’s home, we’ll only send the location info to people who reserve a ticket in advance. So you know how to plan, we can tell you it’s not too far from Nowadays, less than five minutes from the Halsey L.
